About Short Story Radio shortstoryradio.com was established in July 2006 to promote the short story genre and writer. Since then the website has had over 70,000 visitors. Our stories are freely available to all. We showcase contemporary fiction, giving writers an opportunity to have their work professionally broadcast and made available to the widest audience possible. Since January 2008 we have begun including short stories from some of the greats of English literature. The latest additions to our website are the library and programmes sections. Please click the links on the meny for more information about both of these new features. Each week thousands of people from around the world visit shortstoryradio.com to listen to our short stories. Our audience comprises of people of all ages and backgrounds, including published and aspiring writers, and English Language students, who listen to our stories to practise their listening comprehension skills while being entertained at the same time.
