Hospital Radio: Bedside Stories

Short Story Radio is pleased to annouce an innovative and exciting project to provide hospital radio stations with a series of short stories for patients.

Our "Bedside Stories" have been written by Sue Moorcroft, whose work has appeared in numerous national magazines, including Bella, The People's Friend and My Weekly. The stories are read by Tamara Kennedy (Take The High Road, Taggart, Monarch of the Glen).

You can also listen to two of the short stories below.

Bad Thumb A housewife uses an accident as an excuse to get out of her chores, but will she end up losing out?

Glorious Autumn A retired librarian makes a new friend who sees life differently.
