Maggie Grace
Maggie Grace is an actor and theatre practitioner living in East London. She trained at the Mountview Academy, where she graduated with 1st class honours in Acting in 2002. She enjoys performing both classical plays and new writing. She has played a range of roles including Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Mrs Malaprop in The Rivals, Alison in Look Back In Anger and Helen, Brenda and Molly in Road. She has performed with a number of theatre companies touring the UK and Europe, most recently she has been performing Macbeth and A Midsummer Night's Dream with The Shakespeare In Performance Project in Holland.
In addition to acting Maggie is an education practitioner for Shakespeare's Globe where she works with young people teaching a 'lively action'' approach to Shakespeare. Maggie enjoys working with young people as she finds it both challenging and rewarding. She believes theatre is an important medium for communication in our society. Maggie is very excited to be involved with Short Story Radio and is proud to play a part in bringing the work of new writers to a wider audience!
