Penelope was born in Surrey and spent the latter half of her childhood growing up in the States.
Her voiceover work has been recorded for English Language, animation, computer games, radio and audiobooks. She is currently recording the voice of ‘Lulu’ in the animation series Lulu Zippadoo.
Extensive theatre credits include: National tours of The Lady Vanishes, Present Laughter, Brief Encounter, Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner and The Railway Children. A regular to repertory theatre, her work includes The Browning Version, Absent Friends, Butterflies Are Free, Pinocchio and Dick Barton; Special Agent.
BBC radio includes: Gilberte in In Search of Lost Time, Pansy in The Portrait of a Lady and Sylvie in The Professor.
ISIS Audiobooks: The Missing, The Burning (both by Jane Casey) The Neighbour (by Lisa Gardner) and The Good, the Bad and the Dumped (by Jenny Colgan).
Penny also reads to stroke patients in London hospitals for InterAct Reading Service.
