About Ron Clooney

Ron has a love of all things literary and holds a Master of Arts in English and American 19th century literature.

From an early age he had a fascination with the macabre, the shocking and the puzzle of a good crime thriller. Influences in his youth included Hitchcock and Spillane and the sheer terror of Algernon Blackwood.

An ex-journalist he has written for a variety of magazines in both Britain and America and he has now written his debut novel Pancardi's Pride.

Ron teaches in Southampton and is also a lay official for the teachers union NASUWT.
