Short story writers: Margaret Holden
After retiring from teaching and some years as a volunteer teacher in the children's cancer ward of her local hospital, Margaret had more time for my writing.
She says, "I must have a competitive streak as I enjoy entering, and occasionally winning, writing competitions - short stories and poems - some of which have been published. I also enjoyed very much writing my only longer piece of children'sfiction - set in the Second world War and currently seeking a publisher".
Read Heather's story Gift of Tongues was a runner-up in a Short Story Radio competition..
